My 98 Polaris Sportsman 500 4x4
What happens 2nd day out after buying ATV, have a collision and snap top of strutt and bottom a-arm! Whoops!! And to top it off its the wife's 4wheeler!! I tried taking it to local dealer thinking it would run maybe $500.00 or so. When they finally called back to let me know estimate it was $1900.00 I only paid $1600.00 for it. I was not going to let them rob me like that plus I didnt have it anyway. And alot of what they had listed on there list that needed replacing looked fine to me. So I decided to take it home and see if I could get parts on Ebay and fix myself. Oh and the dealer charged me $110.00 dollars to tell me they wanted to legaly steal from me! At least to say I was a little ticked!! Long story short - I found someone on ebay got just the parts that I needed and replaced my self with a little cussing to myself for $220.00 dollars and that includes shipping!! So watch out for legal stealing!!!!
